แม้ว่าประเทศไทยจะมีพัฒนาการสำคัญด้านสิทธิของผู้มีความหลากหลายทางเพศในช่วงหลายปีที่ผ่านมา 

แต่เยาวชนผู้มีความหลากหลายทางเพศจำนวนมาก ยังคงเผชิญกับความท้าทายในระบบการศึกษา จากทั้งกฎระเบียบ การเลือกปฏิบัติ และการเข้าถึงสภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ ที่ยังไม่ครอบคลุมและปลอดภัย

ด้วยเหตุนี้ มูลนิธิยังไพรด์ (Young Pride Foundation) จึงได้จัดทำรายงานการสนับสนุนนโยบายว่าด้วยสิทธิและการมีส่วนร่วม ของบุคคลและเยาวชนผู้มีความหลากหลายทางเพศในประเทศไทย

ที่ได้ทำการศึกษาสถานการณ์ของบุคคลและเยาวชนผู้มีความหลากหลายทางเพศในประเทศไทย ผ่านการวิเคราะห์กฎหมายและนโยบาย การทบทวนวรรณกรรม การสัมภาษณ์ผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง และการรวบรวมเสียงสะท้อนจากเยาวชน เพื่อนำไปสู่ข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบาย ที่ตั้งอยู่บนหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ และประสบการณ์จริง

รายงานฉบับนี้ สะท้อนให้เห็นช่องว่างระหว่างสิทธิที่รับรองไว้ กับการบังคับใช้ในทางปฏิบัติ พร้อมนำเสนอข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายที่มุ่งสร้างระบบการศึกษาที่เคารพศักดิ์ศรี ความหลากหลาย และสิทธิของผู้เรียนทุกคนอย่างเท่าเทียม

Despite Thailand’s significant progress in advancing the rights of LGBTIQ+ people in recent years, many LGBTIQ+ youth continue to face challenges within the education system, including discriminatory regulations, unequal treatment, and limited access to safe and inclusive learning environments.

In response, Young Pride Foundation has developed the Policy Advocacy Report: Rights and Inclusion of LGBTIQ+ People and Youth in Thailand.

The report examines the situation of LGBTIQ+ people and youth in Thailand through legal and policy analysis, literature review, interviews with key stakeholders, and the lived experiences of LGBTIQ+ youth. Drawing on evidence-based research and community voices, it presents policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the rights and meaningful participation of LGBTIQ+ people and youth.

The report highlights the gap between rights guaranteed in law and their implementation in practice, while proposing practical policy recommendations to foster an education system that respects dignity, embraces diversity, and ensures equal rights and opportunities for every learner.
