Policy Advocacy for LGBTIQAN+ Inclusive Education
จุดประสงค์
การรณรงค์เพื่อสร้างเสริมการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับการละเมิดสิทธิมนุษยชน ทั้งทางออนไลน์และออฟไลน์ ซึ่งรวมถึงสิทธิในเสรีภาพของการแสดงออก สิทธิความเป็นส่วนตัว การใส่ร้ายป้ายสี การกลั่นแกล้งทางกฎหมาย และการควบคุมตัวโดยพลการ เสริมสร้างประชาธิปไตยในประเทศ ส่งเสริมให้คนรุ่นเยาว์กล้าที่จะพูดความจริงต่อผู้มีอำนาจ และต่อต้านแนวทางการปกครองแบบอำนาจนิยม โดยการมีส่วนร่วมในการอภิปรายสาธารณะเกี่ยวกับสิทธิมนุษยชน ประชาธิปไตย และความเท่าเทียมกันทางเพศ เพื่อฟื้นฟูพลังขับเคลื่อนสู่การปฏิรูปประชาธิปไตย
ผลลัพธ์

Objective
To Raise awareness on the violations of human rights online and offline, including the right to freedom of expression, privacy rights, smear campaigns, judicial harassment, and arbitrary detention, to strengthen democracy in the country. Also, encourage younger generations to speak truth to power and push back against authoritarianism by engaging in public debates on human rights, democracy, and gender equality, reviving momentum towards democratic reforms.
Summary
More people in Thailand, especially the LGBTIQ+ youth, are becoming increasingly aware of dictatorship and freedom of expression in various ways, both in the digital space and the offline world. The youth leaders are being promoted on our platform. They are enthusiastic about creating change and participating in democratic processes, including our organizing online debate on marriage equality with Thai parliamentarians and political parties. Furthermore, we have seen an increase in the number of young Thai people equipped with the capabilities and knowledge to take full advantage of social media and the internet, amplifying their concerns about the dictatorship and advocating for human rights, freedom, equality, and gender-related laws, including marriage equality and legal gender recognition.

Same-Sex Marriage Campaign Movement
Young Pride Club ได้สนับสนุนสมาชิกในทีมและผู้นำเยาวชน LGBTIQAN+ ที่เคยเป็นศิษย์เก่าให้มีส่วนร่วมและมีตัวแทนที่มีความหมายในการกำหนดนโยบายของกฎหมายสำคัญเกี่ยวกับสิทธิ LGBTIQ+ ในประเทศไทย ซึ่งรวมถึงกฎหมายความเท่าเทียมในการแต่งงานและการรับรองเพศตามกฎหมาย เพื่อยอมรับคู่รักเพศเดียวกัน เราได้จัด X (Twitter) Space ร่วมกับสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรและตัวแทนจากพรรคการเมืองก่อนการพิจารณาอ่านครั้งแรกของกฎหมายความเท่าเทียมในการแต่งงานในรัฐสภาไทย หลังจากนั้น เรายังได้จัดการสนทนาเยาวชนเกี่ยวกับความเท่าเทียมในการแต่งงานที่ BACC กรุงเทพฯ โดยร่วมมือกับองค์กรภาคประชาสังคมในประเทศไทย นอกจากนี้ ผู้อำนวยการของเราได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้เป็นคณะกรรมการที่กำหนดโดยรัฐสภาไทยเพื่อร่างกฎหมายการรับรองเพศตามกฎหมายของประเทศไทย ร่างกฎหมายนี้ได้ถูกส่งไปยังรัฐสภาในปีนี้
Young Pride Club has supported our team members and LGBTIQAN+ youth leader alumni to have meaningful participation and representation in the policymaking of significant legislation on LGBTIQ+ rights in Thailand. This includes the marriage equality law and legal gender recognition. To recognize same-sex couples, we organized an X (Twitter) Space with members of parliament and representatives from political parties before the first reading of the marriage equality law in the Thai parliament. Subsequently, we also organized a youth dialogue for marriage equality at BACC, Bangkok, in collaboration with CSOs in Thailand. Our director was appointed to a committee designated by the Thai parliament to draft Thailand’s legal gender recognition (LGR). The draft was submitted to the parliament this year.

Youth, Democracy & Digital Rights
ร่วมกับมูลนิธิมานุษยะ เราได้ดำเนินโครงการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพสำหรับเยาวชน LGBTQ+ โดยจัดการประชุมกับผู้นำเยาวชนปีละสองครั้ง หลังจากนั้น ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือเป็นภูมิภาคแรกที่จัดเวิร์กช็อปในชมรมเยาวชน LGBTIQAN+ โดยเวิร์กช็อปชื่อว่า “Youth Voice for Gender Equality and Democracy (YVGD) Gen 1” จัดโดยชมรมความหลากหลายทางเพศ (Khon Kee) สมาชิกของทีมผู้จัดงานเข้าร่วมเวิร์กช็อปของเรา กิจกรรมจัดขึ้นที่มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานีในวันที่ 1-2 ธันวาคม 2024 มีผู้เข้าร่วม 15 คน โดยมีการบรรยายจาก ศิริศักดิ์ ไชยเทศ ธนพงศ์ วรรณโกษ (Not Too Late to Be Equal) และตัวแทนจาก IDGN
In collaboration with the Manushya Foundation, we conducted a capacity-building program for LGBTQ+ youth, organizing meetings with Youth Leaders twice a year. Following that, the Northeast region was the first to host a workshop in the Young LGBTIQAN+ club. The workshop, named “Youth Voice for Gender Equality and Democracy (YVGD) Gen 1,” was conducted by the Gender Diversity Club (Khon Kee). Members of the event organizer participated in our workshop.The event took place at Ubon Ratchanani University on December 1st-2nd, 2024, with 15 participants. The workshop featured lectures by Sirisak Chaited, Thanapong Wannakot (Not Too Late to Be Equal), and representative from IDGN.
Youth Sparks Democracy

In collaboration with Manushya Foundation, this is an online outreach campaign in which we interview youth activists from all around the country to exchange their thoughts and experiences. We also share how they overcome obstacles to continue advocating for equality, utilizing both online and on-ground tools.
